You have the answer. You know how the thinkers thought about the human relationship to the group. Take two thinkers and use them to speak to President Obama. What do you say? He only has time to read one page.
Mead believed that humans were reflextive beings by using symbols as our source of communication. Now, in the twenty first century, how would you describe the influence symbols (significant gestures) have on our soceity and how do they impact our way of thinking?
